ELL Program at Farnsworth English Language Learners (ELL). Click on icon to learn more about the ELL program in Saint Paul Schools. We currently have 6 full-time English Language Learner (ELL) licensed teachers. Mrs. Barich-works with first, second and third grade classes. Mrs. Kittinger-Joined staff in 2002 and works with 1st-3rd grade classes. Ms. Popa-Joined staff in 2006 and works with 1st-3rd grade classes. Mrs. Walker-Joined staff in 2008 and works with 4th grade classes. Mr. Grady-Joined staff in 2009 and works with Kindergarten classes. Mrs. Torres-Joined staff in 2009 and works with Kindergarten classes. All the ELL teachers at Farnsworth are working in a collaborative program with the classroom teachers.  Come learn with us at Farnsworth! They support the mainstream instruction in reading and writing.  The literacy models that are being used are:  READER'S and WRITER'S WORKSHOP and READING FIRST. There are also two ELL Educational Assistants that work inclusively with each classroom.  They are Blia Lee and Jason Vasquez.  We welcome your input!
