Welcome to room 202!
Welcome!
Thanks for visiting. The purpose of this site is to keep you informed of the exciting things happening in our classroom and to provide information that will help each of you. We hope you find this page interesting and informative.
Exemplary teaching is child centered. I engage children in the exploration of information by using a variety of techniques, for example: inquiry, modeling, cooperative learning, active participation, individual conferencing and guided practice. Assessment is a tool used to plan further instruction so each child's needs are met. A positive classroom climate is necessary for real growth; every child should feel lovable and capable. If a child has immediate and repeated successes in a caring community, that child will feel comfortable attempting new challenges. Each child should anticipate his or her future with confidence.
Please come back to visit often as new things are being added.
